About the Festivities

This day full of events is free and open to the public. We are celebrating with a parade, live music, food, games, and fireworks!

 4^th of July Schedule of Events:

10:00am: Parade starts

12:00pm: Picnic at Dunphy Park

6:30pm: Evening party at Gabrielson Park

9:15pm: Fireworks show

Parade

This year's Grand Marshal will be James Gabbert.

The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. and starts on the corner of Second and Main, it moves along Bridgeway to Caledonia Street and ends at Dunphy Park.

NOTE Street Closure 9:45a - 11:45a: Main St. and 2nd St up Bridgeway, all of Caledonia St. up to Bridgeway and Napa will be closed to thru traffic.

Picnic

Gather for an afternoon picnic at Dunphy Park. Johnny Gunn & The Wanted will rock from 12:30-4:00pm in the gazebo. We'll host our annual egg toss and tug of war competitions. 

Sausalito Rotary will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers. Galilee Harbor will sell fish & chips, fries, corn, and watermelon. The Rec'ers will be serving wine, margaritas, and beer. 

Sausalito Parks & Recreation will have sodas and locally designed t-shirts for sale. T-Shirts for sale $20.

Congratulations:

Olivia Miller for designing this year’s Sausalito 4th of July shirt! Her design, “Dogs Watching Fireworks at Yee Tock Chee Park,” perfectly represents Sausalito! 

Fireworks

The evening events will take place at Gabrielson Park. Elena Keating and The R&B Allstars is sure to keep you dancing from 6:30-9pm. Fireworks will begin around 9:15pm and last for half an hour.

Big Jim's BBQ will be serving food. They are accepting cash and/or card.

Bring your blankets, beach chairs (low to the ground and no high backs), or reserve a table.

 **We have a new registration system. To purchase a nightly table, everyone will need to create a new account with us. You will only be able to look at the availability by table. **

How to reserve a Fireworks Table:

1. Create an account
2. Reserve a Fireworks Table HERE Or by vising the EVENTS tab once you're logged in. 
3. To reserve a table, click your desired table (1-60) on the map.
4. You are able to see the availability by table; if the table is available, a green reservation button will appear on 7/4 on the calendar. 
5. Proceed to check out.

Firework Table Fees:  Residents $120 / Non Residents $130
