Performing Stars has teamed up with Sausalito Parks and Recreation and the Sausalito Marin City School District for a Family Drive-In Theatre night on Saturday, February 13. Two films will be shown in honor of Black History Month: Red Tails (2012, 125 minutes) and Hidden Figures (2016, 127 minutes). The movies will be shown on a 38-foot screen at the ball field in Marin City, beginning at 6:00 p.m. with Red Tails and followed at 8:30 p.m. by Hidden Figures. Access to the ball field is via the 500 block of Drake Avenue. The audio track will be available via FM radio. Time will be allowed for vehicles to depart after the first movie. Social distancing and masks are required whenever family members leave their vehicles. The weather forecast currently looks favorable, but the event may be postponed if it rains.
