Parking for Sausalito residents can often be a difficult experience, and many areas of our beautiful hillside town lack adequate parking spaces for the number of vehicles needing them
Due to parking congestion some residential areas require a residential area parking permit in order to park overnight and/or to park in excess of the posted time limits during the day
Residents living at eligible addresses within the 94965 ZIP code are eligible to enroll in the Resident Parking Passcard program, providing three hours of free parking in public parking lots downtown
Commuter Parking
If you live in or around Sausalito and commutes from Sausalito via ferry or bus, you may be eligible for reduced rates in some of Sausalito's downtown public parking lots
