What We Do in Finance
- Collect revenues for the City of Sausalito.
- Make payments on behalf of the City.
- Prepare Financial Documents like statements and reports.
- Manage the City's Budget.
- Process payroll for City employees.
- Maintain the City of Sausalito Fiscal Transparency Tool, which includes historical budget and financial information for the City.
- Oversee Business Licenses in Sausalito, together with the Community Development Department.
- Maintain the master schedule of City of Sausalito Fees and Charges.
- Update and administer the City's Financial Policies.
- Process transactions of the Sausalito Financing Authority
- Provide staff support to the City Council, the Finance Committee, the Economic Development Advisory Committee, the Certificates of Participation (CoP) Oversight Committee, and the OMIT Committee (Outreach, MLK Leasing, Internet Technology and Transportation).
