Davey Jones and the Hot Clams are the featured performer at Wednesday Night Live on Wednesday, July 6. The free outdoor performance at the corner of Caledonia and Pine streets will get underway at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m.

The Hot Clams are a salty, Sausalito-based vintage jazz band that plays and sings hits from the 1920s through the 1950s. Guitarist Davey Jones (aka David Johnson) is perhaps best known as the proprietor of Davey Jones Deli and "The Sandwizard of Sausalito."

Everyone is invited to join their friends and neighbors for the show. There will be a dance area and seats in front of the band — or you can sit farther down Caledonia Street at one of the restaurant row establishments and enjoy dinner or a glass of wine while you listen.

Next month, Wednesday Night Live will move to Cascais Plaza on Bridgeway for the Marin Old Time Music Preservation Society. Their show on August 3 will feature top 40 hits from the 1800s, comprised mostly of Appalachian and Irish fiddle tunes.
