A 30-day review period is currently underway for the Public Review Draft of the City of Sausalito's 2023-31 Housing Element.

Digital copies of the Public Review Draft [27 MB] and associated Appendices [5 MB] are available on the City website. Print copies are available for review at the Community Development Department offices in City Hall and at the Sausalito Public Library.

Comments are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16 and may be submitted via email to heac@sausalito.gov or by postal mail to the Community Development Department, 420 Litho Street, Sausalito, CA 94965.

Community members are also encouraged to provide feedback at a Virtual Town Hall meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 1. The meeting will include an overview of the Public Review Draft. Please RSVP to receive details on attending via Zoom.

To avoid penalties, Sausalito's 2023-31 Housing Element must be adopted by the City Council and found by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) to be in conformance with state law within 120 days of January 31, 2023.
