Mariachi Nueva Generacion will return to the plaza in front of the Sausalito Center for the Arts from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11 for a special performance in honor of Cinco de Mayo.

For more than 20 years, Mariachi Nueva Generacion founder Salvador "Chava" Garcia and his fellow musicians have brought traditional mariachi to the Bay Area and established themselves as one of the region's finest mariachi bands.

Everyone is invited to join their friends and neighbors for the free show. Seats will be available in front of the band, or you can sit across the street at the outdoor tables of Copita Tequileria y Comida, the sponsor of the event.

This Wednesday Night Live event was originally scheduled for May 3 but was postponed due to the unseasonably wet weather.

Wednesday Night Live is produced by the City of Sausalito and the City's Economic Development Advisory Committee, in partnership with local restaurants and merchants.
