Join the Sausalito Public Library on Monday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m. in the Edgewater Room for a book talk with Marin resident Janna Barkin, author of the recently released book titled A Grand Love: Stories for Grandparents of Transgender Grandchildren. The newly released book is a  testament to the power of unconditional love and support, inspiring readers to embrace every grandchild with open arms. A Grand Love discusses the experience of being a grandparent to transgender children and includes up-to-date research on gender identity, letters and stories from grandparents and resources for youth and their families. Barkin provides uplifting, educational guidance on how to support your grandchild and yourself. Barkin is also the author of He's Always Been my Son: A Mother's Story about Raising her Transgender Son (2017).
