  • What: Gas main replacement
  • Where: Southbound Bridgeway between Ebbtide Avenue and Coloma Street.

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Notes: PG&E construction personnel and equipment will be in the road and on the sidewalk, so southbound bikes and cars may need to share a southbound lane, and pedestrians may need to cross to the other side of Bridgeway. Access to businesses will be maintained during construction.
  • What: Underground electrical work
  • Where: Intersection of Bridgeway and Princess Street.
  • Duration: February 21 to February 29.
  • Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, except for overnight work on February 21.
  • Notes: At the beginning of the project, PG&E will shut off power to the area between 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 6:00 a.m. on Thursday. This work is being done at night to minimize impacts to customers in the area, who have been notified of the impending outage. Additional work is expected continue during normal construction hours through February 29. Roadway and sidewalk closures should also be expected while work is in progress.
  • What: Upgrades to electrical infrastructure
  • Where: Vicinity of Platt Avenue, Toyon Lane, and Currey Avenue.
  • Duration: Continuing into May 2024.
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Notes: Beginning with this project, PG&E will be upgrading overhead and underground electrical infrastructure in five work areas in central Sausalito. Road closures and no parking signs will be posted in advance. PG&E will maintain vehicle access for those living within construction zones, though there may be delays.
  • What: Pavement removal and replacement
  • Where: Edwards Avenue between Alexander Avenue and Marion Avenue.
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Duration: Continuing into May 2024.
  • Notes: Residents of the area should expect significant disruptions. Work will include replacing the sewer main along Edwards and up Marion to Hi Vista. Updates will be provided via mailers and construction signs from contractor Maggiora & Ghilotti.
