A grant-funded project to improve the plaza and queuing areas at the Sausalito Ferry Landing is expected to begin on September 16 and continue for approximately three months, according to the Department of Public Works.
City Council approval on September 3 of the conversion of Tracy Way to a pedestrian promenade cleared the way for the start of construction. At the meeting, the Council also provided direction to City staff to gather ideas for ways that the late Jack Tracy could be honored at the new plaza and promenade.
