- Bay Cities Refuse: The Sustainability Commission partners with Bay Cities Refuse to help bring awareness of compost and recycling best practices to the Sausalito community.
- Support for Single Use Plastic Ban: The Sustainability Commission offers a program in collaboration with Bay Cities Refuse to assist businesses with the transition away from single use plastic (See Sausalito Municipal Code, Chapter 11.40).
- Zero Waste Marin: The Marin Hazardous and Solid Waste Joint Powers Authority (JPA) is comprised of representatives from all over Marin County. Their mission is to help residents and businesses meet the county’s Zero Waste goal by 2025.
