The City of Sausalito will hold a Special Municipal Election on June 5, 2012
for the voters of the City of Sausalito to decide whether the
Sausalito Fire Department should be annexed to (merged with) the
Southern Marin Fire Protection District
Measure D reads:

Shall the order adopted on November 10, 2011 and reaffirmed on February 8, 2012 by the Marin Local Agency Formation Commission, ordering the annexation of the territory of the City of Sausalito to the Southern Marin Fire Protection District, be confirmed subject to the terms and conditions specified in the order? |
All registered voters within the City of Sausalito will have the opportunity to vote YES or NO.
The IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS was prepared by the Marin Local Agency Formation Commission.
On March 19, an ARGUMENT FOR and an ARGUMENT AGAINST Measure D were filed.
