Join us for both recreational and competitive sand volleyball at Dunphy Park! Everyone is welcome to participate, whether you sign up as part of a team or as a free agent (please note that free agents are not guaranteed placement on a team).

Don't have a team? No problem! If you're looking to join one, simply email us at recreation@sausalito.gov.
*Please note: If we do not have enough teams registered, Recreation and Competitive Leagues will be combine into one League.

Co-ed Volleyball: Recreational League
- Captain Registration: Opens February TBD @ 9:00am- REGISTER HERE
- Player Registration: Opens February TBD @ 9:00am (permission from a captain to register) REGISTER HERE
- Regular Season: TBD
- Playoff/Championship: TBD
- Game Days: Teams will play on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the week.
- Game Times: 5:30 PM, 6:15 PM, and 7:00 PM
- Schedule: Volleyball Spring 2025 Schedule
- Bracket: Playoffs Bracket
Co-ed Volleyball: Competitive League

Volleyball League Rules

Teams play once a week Tuesday-Wednesday (Rec) or Wednesday- Thursday (Competitive)

Team's start time will vary each week. We try our best to create a balanced schedule for all teams.

2 teams play (1) 40 minute match, consisting of 3 head-to-head sets.

4 on 4 (co-ed with a minimum of 1 member of another gender on the court at a time).

6 players minimum on a team and maximum of 8. Free agent teams will have no more than 10 players on the roster.

An official referee will be keeping score each match.

Top 6 teams make the playoffs.
Questions
- If you are a solo player or a small group of friends interested in playing, but don't have a team, you can be put on the free agent list. Free agents are not guaranteed a spot on a team.
