Disaster Preparedness Fair Comes to MLK Park on September 9
To help residents get their act together in a relaxed environment, Southern Marin Fire and Sausalito Village are hosting Ready Sausalito, a free community-wide emergency preparedness fair at the MLK Park basketball courts from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9.

Truck Collides with Utility Pole, Hydrant on Coloma Street
At approximately 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, the driver of a white Toyota pickup truck traveling eastbound on Coloma Street lost control and struck a utility pole in the vicinity of 440 Coloma.

Vehicle Accident Causes Power Outages
A vehicle crash on Coloma Street near the intersection of Coloma and Bridgeway has knocked out power at the far north end of Sausalito, in the floating homes community, and in a large swath of Marin City.

Burst Water Main on Bridgeway Damages Roadway
At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday June 19, a burst water main belonging to the Marin Municipal Water District flooded the northbound lanes of Bridgeway between Harbor Drive and Coloma Street. Businesses on the east side of Bridgeway were also impacted by the flooding.

King Tides from July 1-5
The combination of lunar phase and the solar perihelion can generate especially high tides, sometimes referred to as "king tides." King tides that exceed 6.5' typically cause street flooding in Sausalito, most often on Gate 5 Road.
