About Waste Collection in Sausalito

• All Sausalito residents and businesses are required to use weekly garbage service
• Bay Cities Refuse is Sausalito's provider of garbage, recycling, and green waste collection
• Your garbage bin will be collected and emptied by staff of Bay Cities Refuse
• Your green bin and blue recycling bin must be brought to the curbside to be emptied
• No light bulbs, household batteries, paint or hazardous waste
• Bay Cities will notify you of your weekly collection day when you establish service
• Bay Cities also provides semiannual special pickups and, for a fee, will collect bulky items like mattresses
