Late Night Accident on Bridgeway Damages Traffic Signals
Flashing red traffic signals and temporary stop signs have been deployed at the Spring Street and Easterby Street intersections with Bridgeway after a vehicle struck and destroyed a signal pole in the Bridgeway median at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Thursday, December 7.

King Tides in December
During the late fall and early winter months, the combination of lunar phase and the solar perihelion generate especially high tides. Tides that exceed 6.5' can cause flooding, most often on Gate 5 Road in Sausalito and in low-lying areas of Marin City.

Bridge District Receives $6 Million Grant for Improvements to Ferry Landing Pier, Gangway, and Float
On November 30, the Federal Transit Administration announced that it had awarded a $6 million grant to the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District in support of the "waterside" project to upgrade the access pier, gangway, and float at the Sausalito Ferry Landing.

Extra Garbage Pickup Scheduled for Week of October 16
