Election of Mayor and Vice Mayor Postponed to January
The City Council has postponed the election of a mayor and vice mayor for 2022 until its next regular meeting in January. The decision was made at the beginning of the December 7 meeting of the Council due to the absence of a councilmember for a family emergency.

City Appeals Regional Housing Allocation

Cannabis Measure Qualifies for Sausalito Ballot
An initiative measure to modify the City's marijuana regulations has gathered enough signatures to qualify for the Sausalito ballot. If approved, the measure would modify the municipal code to allow for the permitting of a cannabis retail storefront and a cannabis delivery-only business.
