Get a Seller Space at the Spring City Wide Yard Sale
Seller booths will go on sale to residents of the 94965 ZIP code via the Parks and Recreation Department online registration system at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 21. Instructions on booking a seller booth can be found on the City Wide Yard Sale website.

Update on the Tent Encampment at Marinship Park
The tent encampment on the tennis courts at Marinship Park currently has approximately 28 residents on platforms provided by the City. Since its relocation from the lawn and parking lot areas of the park on February 10, the encampment has generated few calls for service to the Sausalito Police.

More than 50 volunteers of all ages planted 40 new trees and shrubs at the MLK Athletic Field on Saturday, February 26 as part of the second phase of tree planting at MLK Park.

Spring Bocce League Update
Sausalito is bonkers for bocce! Returning teams have already filled up all of the slots in the more competitive Bocce by the Bay League for spring 2022, and only six slots remain for the new, less competitive Bocce Social League.

Sunken Boat in Sausalito Presents Possible Environmental Hazard
The situation began Saturday when two small sailboats beached in Dunphy Park. The operators told Sausalito Police they brought the boats ashore to clean the bottoms of the boats, a process known as "scraping."

State of Emergency Declared After Fire, Explosion at Encampment
On February 10, the City of Sausalito declared a state of emergency due to a growing crisis with unsheltered members of our community. The declaration was prompted by a fire and explosion on the evening of February 9 at the tent encampment at the Marinship Park tennis courts.

Janelle Kellman Elected Mayor for 2022
Janelle Kellman was unanimously elected as mayor by her fellow councilmembers at the meeting of the Sausalito City Council on Tuesday, January 11. Mayor Kellman succeeds outgoing Mayor Jill Hoffman, who served in that position during 2021.

Council Advances Proposal for Arts Center at Bank of America Building
Sausalito may soon be getting a new arts center for the City-owned Bank of America Building at 750 Bridgeway. The proposal for a Sausalito Center for the Arts was one of 6 submissions considered by the City Council as part of a request for ideas process to attract interest from prospective tenants.
